I can’t help but be inspired by the unseasonably warm weather we’ve had lately-I cannot wait for Spring! Ok, I’m done with winter and have started planning a vacation to a warm island someplace, so let’s talk tropical themed wedding! Love this card box and how the gorgeous colors (and you know I love color) exude vibrance on every level. Gorgeous Gold
One of my favorite looks from this year’s fashion week was the stunning eye makeup I saw on so on so many models-GOLD was everywhere. From heavy application for a funky vibe to simple gold eyeliner used to create a more angelic feel, the hue looked glamorous on everyone. I tested it out myself, applying a lighter shade to my brow bone then blending a darker copper version in the crease of my eye lid, I topped it off with some shimmery liner and….LOVE! Give it a try yourself- you’ll love it too, I promise : )

High Slit Skirts
Well, if there is one thing people are still talking about after the Oscars, it’s Angelina Jolie and that high slit dress she was wearing! Whether you loved it or hated it, you have to admit- it definitely made a statement, and this season designers are creating some less ‘dramatic’ versions for the rest of us. The high slit is certainly not for the shy, but wearing a long, sleek variation with a more demure slit can look quite elegant and be incredibly fun and fashion-forward…so go for it! I’m going to buy mine right now…see you there

Hollywood Movie Wedding
So who watched the Oscars last night? Award season and this perfectly put together black and white card box inspired me to think about how much fun a classic Hollywood movie themed wedding would be. Winter White
As much as I don’t like to admit it…it’s still winter (yuck!)…so let’s make the best of it. Winter White Wedding! New York Fashion Week
In case you weren’t aware, this week is New York Fashion Week and the designers really scored this time around. I was fortunate enough to be backstage for several of the shows and even amidst the chaos, I was still able to appreciate (aka look on in AWE ) these gorgeous designs. My favorite looks, like those above from Honor, Venexiana and Concept Korea, showcase stunningly bright colors. I absolutely love how the saturated shades work in such different looks. From the street to the ballroom, the standout hues will help you make your mark…now if only I could find a way to afford everything in all of these fabulous collections
